AN EXPLOSION OF AROMA AND COLOR IN OUR MOUNTAINS
The mountain brooms (piornos) are very abundant in the northern part of the Sierra de Gredos, traditionally used for the construction of shepherds' huts and to heat the bread ovens and homes of our towns, flowering throughout the months of May and June. It is an explosion of aroma and color in our mountains.!!!!
