Crossing the first gate we enter through "Vardallana" until we reach the area of "La Zanja" where we find the "Paso de Palomas" shelter. After crossing two gates, we reach the meadows of "Cardiel" in the Sierra de the "Cancha" from where we already have good views of the lagoon circus with the peaks of "La Covacha" to the left and "La Azagaya" in the center.
After a small climb, we head along the rope, leaving the “Los Biznagales” barrier on the left and the “Peña el Cuervo” mountain range on the right and further on “El Risco del Águila” to go down to the shepherd's refuge, near the throat.
Following the path we arrive at the “Chorreras”, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region. Sierra de Gredos.
And after crossing the gorge we arrive at the meadow, which overlooking the beautiful glacier that shelters it, we find the lagoon of Galin Gomez, where we can delight in its crystal-clear waters and, if it is the season, take a comforting bath, being watched by a specimen of mountain goat.
